Blooming Buds School, a renowned educational institution in Moga city paid tribute to Dr. Bhim Rao Ambedkar, the architect of the Indian Constitution on his birth anniversary under the leadership of Chairman Dr. Sanjeev Kumar Saini and Chairperson Mrs. Kamal Saini. During the assembly, students displayed very beautiful charts. In addition, articles related to Dr. Ambedkar’s life, his contributions to the country’s politics and social sphere, and his invaluable role in the framing of the Indian Constitution were presented. The students highlighted Dr. Ambedkar’s life, explaining that he was a great economist, politician, and influential leader, and also a prominent social reformer. He became independent India’s first Law and Justice Minister. His struggle for the rights of the Dalit community can never be forgotten. While drafting the Indian Constitution, he paid special attention to improving the condition of the oppressed and backward sections of society. For this purpose, provisions for reservation were included in every field, which ensured equal opportunities and rights for people belonging to the Dalit community. School Principal Dr. Hamiliya Rani informed the students that Dr. Bhim Rao Ambedkar, who was born into a very humble family, achieved higher education through his ability and hard work. He earned doctoral degrees in economics from both Columbia University and the London School of Economics. After independence, when a constitution was needed to efficiently govern a vast country like India, Dr. Ambedkar was appointed as the Chairman of the Drafting Committee. Keeping in mind India’s unity, integrity, history, and secularism, he prepared a framework for the Constitution that is still in force across the country today. The Constitution of India is the largest written constitution in the world. In the end, the school management, entire staff, and students offered floral tributes to Baba Saheb Ambedkar.
