Blooming Buds School, Moga organized a Painting Competition Dedicated to Independence Day
Students Displayed Their Art on the Themes 'India of My Dreams' and 'India in 2047'
Blooming Buds School, Moga, a renowned educational institution of the city, organized a magnificent painting competition dedicated to India’s Independence Day under the leadership of Chairman Dr. Sanjeev Kumar Saini and Chairperson Mrs. Kamal Saini, in which a large number of students from various classes of the school participated. The purpose of this competition was to further strengthen the spirit of patriotism among students and to give them an opportunity to think about the future of their country and express those thoughts through colours. Students were given two themes for the competition — ‘India of My Dreams’ and ‘India in 2047.’ Through these themes, children got the opportunity to imagine what India would look like when it completes 100 years of independence, and what their dream India should be like. Students beautifully depicted themes such as a clean India, a lush green environment, a digitally and technologically advanced India, India’s leadership in space exploration, gender equality, a poverty-free society, and solar energy in their paintings. Many children incorporated images of the tricolour, doves, satellites, electric vehicles, and green cityscapes in their artwork, which captivated onlookers. On this occasion, School Principal Dr. Hamiliya Rani said that such competitions not only refine children’s creativity but also instill in them a sense of responsibility towards their country. She said that today’s children will lay the foundation of tomorrow’s India, so it is very important to understand and encourage their thoughts and dreams. She also mentioned that students had begun preparing for this competition several days in advance, and each child made full use of their imagination, creating their artworks using different colours and techniques. Children from the younger classes also participated with great enthusiasm and expressed their love for the country in their own way. She further shared that the winning students in the competition would be honoured. School Chairperson Mrs. Kamal Saini said that during this event, the atmosphere of the school was completely coloured with patriotism, and a distinct enthusiasm and zeal was seen among the students. It is worth noting that, keeping in mind the all-round development of students, the school provides them with platforms so that they get the opportunity to hone their talents.
