Blooming Buds School paid Tribute to Mahatma Gandhi on his martyrdom day.

Blooming Buds School, a renowned educational institution in Moga city, paid a heartfelt tribute to Mahatma Gandhi on his death anniversary under the leadership of Group Chairman Dr. Sanjeev Kumar Saini and Chairperson Mrs. Kamal Saini. On this occasion, students presented charts and articles regarding Mahatma Gandhi’s life. While presenting the articles, they shared that Mahatma Gandhi was known as Bapu. He is also called the Father of the Nation. He remained an inseparable link in India’s freedom struggle. Mahatma Gandhi’s full name was Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi. He was born on October 2, 1869, in Porbandar city of Gujarat. After studying to be a barrister in London, he went to South Africa and conducted Satyagraha against the atrocities being committed against Black people there. Upon returning to India, he preached against the violence of the British government and was a leader in the freedom struggle against British rule. Nathuram Godse shot and killed him at Birla House during his evening prayers on January 30, 1948. Martyrs’ Day is observed on January 30 in memory of his martyrdom. On this occasion, school Principal Dr. Hamiliya Rani addressed the students, stating that Mahatma Gandhi united all of India with a peaceful struggle in which there was no place for violence. On Mahatma Gandhi’s death anniversary, we should remember his teachings and the struggle against the British Raj. He was one of the most important members who helped India gain independence. On this day, the people of India should come together and remember Mahatma Gandhi’s sacrifices. She mentioned that the Swachh Bharat Abhiyan was also started by the Government of India in memory of Mahatma Gandhi. Under this, a cleanliness oath was taken by the students in the school. All students and staff were present on this occasion.
