18th BBS Games of Blooming Buds School, Moga Got a Spectacular Start.

International Cricketer 'Shikhar Dhawan' Becomes Chief Guest

The 18th BBS Annual Games, which had been underway for the past few days at Blooming Buds School, a renowned educational institution in Moga city, under the guidance of Group Chairman Dr. Sanjeev Kumar Saini and Chairperson Madam Kamal Saini, began with a spectacular opening ceremony.

The ceremony was specially graced by the presence of international cricketer ‘Shikhar Dhawan’ as the Chief Guest. Along with him, the famous singer Shri K. S. Makhan, Prime Asia celebrity reporter Shri Swaran Singh Tehna, and the father of Indian international women’s cricket team captain Harmanpreet Kaur, Sardar Harminder Singh Bhullar also enhanced the glory of the event as Chief Guests.

All the Chief Guests were welcomed by BBS Group Chairman Dr. Sanjeev Kumar Saini, Chairperson Mrs. Kamal Saini, School Principal Dr. Hamiliya Rani, Vice Principal Mrs. Nidhi Brar, and CEO Rahul Chhabra by presenting bouquets of flowers.

The ceremony commenced in a very captivating and beautiful manner. Following the welcome of the Chief Guests, the National Flag, the BBS School Flag, and the BBS Games Flag were hoisted. This was followed by a March Past led by the BBS Bagpiper Band, and a salute was given to the National Flag.

After the March Past, the Chief Guest officially inaugurated the games. All the house teams took a pledge to play the games with honesty and discipline and to uphold the honor of the school. Subsequently, the School Sports Torch was jointly lit by the Chief Guest and Chairman Dr. Sanjeev Kumar Saini, and this torch was handed over to the School Captains. Following this, Group Chairman Dr. Sanjeev Kumar Saini addressed the players.

The ceremony began with a beautiful display by the BBS Bagpiper Band. The auspicious start of the event was marked by a Vandana Classical Dance. A group dance on the theme of patriotism by the Junior Group, regional dances, and the Punjabi folk dance Giddha by the senior girls were performed, which captivated the audience. Students gave a spectacular demonstration of their agility through Gymnastics and Yoga displays.

After this, a very splendid and captivating demonstration of ‘Gatka’ (Sikh martial art) was presented, which was dedicated to the sacrifice of the younger Sahibzadas and Mata Gujri Ji. Alongside all these performances, the sports competitions were announced by the Chief Guest, the School Management, and the staff. All the staff and students were present on the occasion.
