Blooming Buds School student Harsimrat Kaur won second place in the Punjab State Dance Sports Championship
Blooming Buds School, a renowned educational institution of Moga city, under the able leadership of Group Chairman Dr. Sanjeev Kumar Saini and Chairperson Madam Kamal Saini Ji, has made a unique identity in the fields of studies, sports and other cultural activities. Keeping the same thinking and spirit, Harsimrat Kaur, a student of the seventh class of the school, once again won the second place at the state level in the solo Bhangra folk dance competition with her hard work, dedication and skills. Expressing these words, the school principal Dr. Hamiliya Rani informed that Harsimrat Kaur, who is a student of class VII in the school, won the second place for her solo performance of folk dance Bhangra in the state level dance competition organized by Dance Sports Council of Punjab and Tarun Events at Lovely University in Jalandhar. More than 100 children from all over Punjab participated in this competition. After winning this competition, Harsimrat has also been selected for the national competitions. Harsimrat Kaur was awarded with a trophy, achievement certificate and participation certificate. Madam further informed that Harsimrat has been fond of dance since her early age and has been continuously learning and practicing different types of dance. Her presence is also appreciated during various festivals celebrated in the school. She has a special love for Punjabi folk dance. Apart from this, she also wants to learn Jhumar, Ludi etc. dance. She also told that before this Harsimrat has won many prizes in many competitions. On this occasion, the school chairperson Madam Kamal Saini ji while talking said that it is not necessary that students progress only in the field of education and sports, but many students also make their own identity in the field of art. That is why cultural activities are also organized in the school for the all-round development of the students. She congratulated Harsimrat Kaur and her parents.
