Blooming Buds A.B.C. Montessori School, Moga celebrated Christmas festival
Blooming Buds A.B.C. Montessori School, Moga, which comes under the renowned Blooming Buds Group of Schools of Moga city, celebrated the sacred festival of Christmas with great enthusiasm and joy. The event was organized under the able leadership of Group Chairman Dr. Sanjeev Kumar Saini and Chairperson Mrs. Kamal Saini. On this occasion, the tiny students won everyone’s hearts by wearing Santa costumes. The children further enhanced the festive spirit by singing “Jingle Bell” and other Christmas songs. During the celebration, happiness was shared by distributing toffees and chocolates among the children. During the morning assembly, students provided information about the Christmas festival through charts and articles and explained that Christmas is celebrated every year on 25th December in remembrance of the birth of Lord Jesus Christ. From this day, the twelve-day festival of Christmastide also begins, which holds special significance in the Christian community. The students explained that in modern times, Christmas celebrations include the exchange of gifts, special prayers in churches, and various kinds of decorations. These decorations include Christmas trees, colorful lights, nativity scenes, and rangolis. Santa Claus, also known as the “Father of Christmas,” is a popular figure associated with this festival and is considered a symbol of bringing gifts for children. School Principal Mrs. Parmjit Kaur extended Christmas greetings to all students and staff and wished them welfare and progress in the coming New Year. On this occasion, Chairperson Madam Kamal Saini said in her address that the festivals celebrated in India are symbols of our unity and integrity. Festivals bring happiness into our lives and strengthen the feeling of brotherhood. She said that India is a secular country where people of different religions live, and the festivals associated with each religion reflect its culture and traditions. We should respect all religions and their festivals and celebrate every festival with love, peace, and enthusiasm.
