Blooming Buds School, a reputed educational institution of Moga city, honored the School Captains and House Captains with trophies during a special ceremony. BBS Group Chairman Dr. Sanjeev Kumar Saini, Chairperson Madam Kamal Saini, School Principal Dr. Hamiliya Rani, and Vice Principal Dr. Nidhi Brar did the honors. Among the School Captains, Japjijot Brar (12th Arts), Harjot Singh (12th Medical), and Parneet Kaur (11th Non-Medical) were honored. There are four house teams in the school, from which Senior, Intermediate, and Junior captains were honored. Blue House Captains: Kamalneer Kaur (Senior 10-A), Manveer Singh (Intermediate 9-B), Harleen Kaur (Junior 10-A); Green House Captains: Arsh Singh Brar (Senior 12-Arts), Harsimran Kaur (Intermediate 11-Medical), Simranjit Kaur (Junior 11-Medical); Yellow House Captains: Manpreet Kaur (Senior 12-Commerce B), Mankirat Singh (Intermediate 12-Medical), Ekamdeep Kaur (Junior 11-Arts); Red House Captains: Gurleen Kaur Saran (Senior 9-G), Kudratpreet Kaur (Intermediate 8-A), Mehtosh Singh Gill (Junior 7-MG). On this occasion, Chairman Dr. Sanjeev Kumar Saini specially provided information stating that there are a total of 4 house teams of students in the school: Green, Red, Blue, and Yellow. Including Junior, Intermediate, and Senior students, 12 teams are formed which are led by 12 House Captains. Inter-house competitions are held throughout the year, and on the occasion of Independence Day and Republic Day, these House Captains lead their house teams during the march past, while the School Captains lead the entire march past. He further explained that the selection of these School Captains and House Captains is done by keeping in view the students’ report for the whole year, considering the academic field as well as sports and other progressive activities. He said that he feels great happiness while honoring the School Captains and House Captains because seeing these students inspires other students to come forward as well. The school is committed to providing every platform for the students. With such honors, they work even harder, which fosters leadership qualities in them that are helpful in their lives.
