Blooming Buds School, a renowned educational institution of Moga city, under the able leadership of Group Chairman Dr. Sanjeev Kumar Saini and Chairperson Mrs. Kamal Saini celebrated Prakash Utsav of Shri Guru Granth Sahib in a special function. The event was started by singing the word “Hari Jio” during the morning assembly in the school. After this, the students shared the information about Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji with other students. Throwing light on the greatness of Shri Guru Granth Sahib, they said that the verses of many Gurus and devotees are recorded in Shri Guru Granth Sahib. Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji was completed by the fifth Guru Sri Guru Arjan Dev Ji through Bhai Gurdas Ji. He collected the verses composed by the first four Gurus and recorded them in the Guru Granth Sahib. After this, Dasam Pita Shri Guru Gobind Singh ji through his precious words pronounced that ‘Agya bhai akal ki tabai chalayo panth, sab sikhan ko hukam hai Guru Manio Granth’ thus ended the Guru Gaddi and Shri Guru Granth Sahib ji only Guru was declared. School Principal Dr. Hamiliya Rani ji told the children that according to historical facts, 1604 AD In Sri Harmandir Sahib, Amritsar, Sri Guru Granth Sahib was published for the first time and Baba Budha was appointed as the first scribe of this holy book. She gave a message to those children that the verse recorded in Sri Guru Granth Sahib is an immense source of knowledge. We can live an ideal life by following the teachings in the scriptures.
