Chandnawan Blooming Buds Senior Secondary School : The 9th annual sports meet and cultural program concluded, leaving behind indelible memories.

The 9th annual sports event, held at Blooming Buds Senior Secondary School, Village-Chandnawan, Tehsil-Baghapurana, District-Moga—a part of the prestigious and progressive BBS Group of Schools running under the capable patronage of Group Chairman Dr. Sanjeev Kumar Saini and Chairperson Mrs. Kamal Saini—concluded with lasting memories. In this annual sports meet and cultural program, students participated enthusiastically in about 20 indoor and outdoor games and 19 track and field events. This sports festival is not only a display of students’ numerous talents and sportsmanship but also reflects BBS Group Chairman Dr. Sanjeev Kumar Saini’s dedication to sports. The ceremony began in a very captivating manner. Following the welcome of the chief guests, students of BBS Chandnawan performed a march past and saluted the national flag. After the march past, the games were inaugurated by the chief guest, Punjabi folk singer K.S. Makhan. All house teams pledged to play the games with honesty and discipline and to enhance the school’s honor. K.S. Makhan recited a poem for the students and parents about the importance of time, which was highly appreciated by the parents in attendance. Subsequently, the school sports torch was jointly lit by the chief guest and the Chairman of BBS. Following this, Group Chairman Sanjeev Kumar Saini addressed the athletes and informed the guests and parents about the achievements of BBS Chandnawan. At the start of the ceremony, students presented a welcome group dance. This was followed by displays such as PT, lazium, ribbon, and saree drills. After this, children performed Ganesh Vandana and dance. Alongside all this, the chief guest, school management, and staff announced the sports competitions. During this time, winning students in the final matches of sports competitions such as dodgeball, kho-kho, kabaddi, throwball, volleyball, cricket, handball, badminton, and table tennis were honored with medals and trophies. Providing information, School Principal Madam Sarabjit Sharma stated that inter-house sports competitions were held in team games, where the winning team received a running trophy and the best player received an individual trophy. In the end, chief guest Inderpal Singh Babbi, Takkar Sahib, Raj Kumar Arora, Jassa Dhillon, and Satpal Saini praised the school’s achievements and expressed great joy in attending the 9th BBS Games. They specifically congratulated and praised the institution for achieving great milestones in both sports and education under the efficient management of the BBS Group. Subsequently, BBS Group Chairman Sanjeev Kumar Saini, Madam Kamal Saini, Madam Jessica Saini, Gagan Bajaj, and Inderpal Singh Babbi jointly presented a memento to the chief guest K.S. Makhan and thanked him. Finally, school students performed Punjab’s famous folk dance, Bhangra.
