Chand Nawan Blooming Buds Senior Secondary School Marks Grand Opening of 9th Annual Sports Meet

Chand Nawan Blooming Buds Senior Secondary School, a well-known institution running under the BBS Group of Schools, marked the grand opening of 9th Annual Sports Meet at school campus with great enthusiasm and energy. The opening ceremony was held in a lively and disciplined atmosphere. Famous Punjabi singer Mr. K.S. Makhan attended the event as the Chief Guest and motivated the students with his encouraging words. He was warmly welcomed by Dr. Sanjeev Kumar Saini, Chairperson Mrs. Kamal Saini, Principal Mrs. Sarbjit Sharma, and Director Madam Raman Sharma by presenting him with a bouquet. The ceremony began with the unfurling of the National Flag, the BBS School Flag, and the Sports Flag by the Chief Guest along with the school management. All the house teams participated in a well-organized march past under the leadership of School Captains Gurvinder Singh and Lovepreet Kaur and saluted to the flags. The Chief Guest then lit the sports torch and handed it over to the School Captain. The torch was passed on to the House Captains, who carried it around the sports ground and finally presented it to Group Chairman Dr. Sanjeev Kumar Saini, symbolizing unity and sportsmanship. Principal Mrs. Sarbjit Sharma welcomed all the guests and parents. On this occasion, the ceremonial lamp was lit by Chief Guest Mr. K.S. Makhan, Dr. Sanjeev Kumar Saini, Mrs. Kamal Saini, Jessica Saini, and Mrs. Sarbjit Sharma, marking the formal start of the sports meet. The dignitaries thanked the parents and school staff for their support and wished the participating athletes success. While addressing the students, the Chief Guest highlighted the importance of balancing academics and sports. The program started with a graceful group dance as Ganesh Vandana, followed by an impressive PT display by the students, which was appreciated by the audience. During the sports meet, finals of 20 games and 19 track and field events were conducted. Several respected guests, including Satpal Saini, Gagan Bajaj, Ranjit Takkar, Inderpal Singh Babbi, Raj Kumar Arora, Manpreet Singh, Jaswinder Singh Dhillon, and Vishesh Khera, were present and added to the success of the event.
