Blooming Buds School, Moga celebrated ‘National Constitution Day’
It is important to understand our duties along with the rights given in the Constitution: Principal
Blooming Buds School, a renowned educational institution of Moga city celebrated National Constitution Day during the morning assembly under the leadership of Group Chairman Dr. Sanjeev Kumar Saini and Chairperson Mrs. Kamal Saini. During the event, students prepared charts and presented articles related to this day.
While presenting the articles, the students shared that Constitution Day in India is observed every year on 26 November in honor of Dr. Bhim Rao Ambedkar known as the chief architect of the Indian Constitution and the other committee members who assisted him. They stated that Dr. B.R. Ambedkar was appointed the Chairman of the Constitution Drafting Committee in 1947. On 26 November 1949, the Constituent Assembly adopted the Constitution of India, which came into effect on 26 January 1950. It took 2 years, 4 months, and 18 days to prepare the Constitution. It was written in both Hindi and English languages.
On this occasion, the school’s Principal, Dr. Hamiliya Rani, informed the students about the Indian Constitution. She explained that the Constitution is not just a legal document, but the fundamental basis of the Indian people’s unwavering belief in freedom, equality, and justice. She guided the students, saying that the country’s future lies in their hands and it is important to understand their duties along with their rights. The Indian Constitution is entirely based on a democratic system. The Constitution is the backbone of democracy, and only a strong Constitution can ensure true freedom for a country’s citizens. Giving a message to the students, she said that we should respect our Constitution and the rights it grants us.
On this occasion, the school’s Chairperson, Mrs. Kamal Saini, encouraged all students to be sensitive not only toward their rights but also toward their duties. She stated that the true service to the Constitution lies in adopting the values of equality, cooperation, and brotherhood in our daily lives. The Constitution has given every citizen the right to equality, freedom of expression, and justice, and these shared values make India a strong democracy. All staff members and students were present at the event.
